car insurance funny

a bit of friday fun. being an environmentally sensitive chap, a wee while back i was trying to buy some car insurance from ecoinsurance

filling out the online forms to get a quote i was intrigued by some of the options available under the required occupation field, notably blackburn rovers player. unsurprisingly, web designer wasn’t available

  1. Funnily enough, it turns out your occupation makes hardly any difference to your insurance quote (from what I’ve heard at Premium Choice). Apparently, it used to be important but, in the new schema, it is an unnecessary field. The only reason big aggregators take the information is for the older systems.
